OUR MISSION
As emphasized by the Department of Defense, Williamsen Manufacturing also focuses
on improving the effectiveness of our support to the Warfighter. Management
and our valued-employees take measured actions to improve the operational and quality
efficacy in manufacturing for our United States military.
OUR APPROACH
Williamsen Manufacturing has incorporated the following four elements of the Department
of Defenses' Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) framework to assure cooperative
success in fabricating specialized transportation equipment for the United States military.
1. A broad-based, structured CPI implementation method.
The methodology describes stakeholder key roles and responsibilities involved in supporting,
monitoring, and repeating the improvement process. Our Company creates a macro and
micro-level manufacturing working plan that is utilized to structure, measure and implement
new efficiencies into the manufacturing process.
 |
|
2. Structure of goals that are aligned to a Warfighter-driven, outcome-based metric.
Our Project Directors work with military Contracting
Offices to develop measured timelines, benchmarks
and performance levels to assure that the overall
manufacturing project adheres to the Department of
Defense's standard of excellence. |
3. Emphasis on the management and integration of CPI projects.
Planned progress evaluation and reporting are essential for results achievement with every
military trailer project. Project Directors take assertive steps to monitor the total supply-chain
needs and deliver the expected objective outlined in the items 1 & 2 above.
4.Ways to determine how well projects and organizations are progressing.
Williamsen Manufacturing identifies all level of expertise
that will be required prior to the implementation stage of
each military contract. Our Company assigns a lead
Project Director that is supported by our internal Military
Project Team. Senior management monitors the overall
plan performance each week with the Project Director
and coordinates all activities with the respective
Contracting Officer. |
